Attorney Kaitlyn Danielle Peters is an experienced lawyer who practices both criminal defense and family law. She appreciates the unique nature of every case and believes the best outcomes are achieved by building a strong relationship with each client.
Ms. Peters attended the Vermont Law School, during which time she worked at the South Royalton Legal Clinic, assisting clients with a variety of civil law matters. This early experience led her to develop an interest in family law matters, including child custody and domestic violence. After completing school, she served as a 16th Judicial District of Virginia magistrate.
In her work as a criminal defense attorney, Ms. Peters crafts winning defense arguments by leveraging the experience gained during her time as a public defender with the Fredericksburg Public Defender’s Office. Her experience as a public defender fueled her desire to fight for those accused of both misdemeanors and felonies, especially in the area of drug offenses and violent crimes.
